United for Help
charity concert collaboration with Michael Lerche, photography Reiner Herbold
Cooperation with abstract painter Michael Lerche for the charity concert “United for Help” using the live painting setup. His ability to draw spontaneous inspiration from the music provided the perfect foundation for crafting individualized moods for every piece. As the music played, Michael translated the sounds into vibrant, abstract paintings, responding to the rhythm, tone, and emotion of each performance in real time.
Alexanders role in this collaboration was to adjust the appearance of Michael’s work and integrate it seamlessly with pre-made visual loops. This combination of live painting and pre-designed elements created a rich, immersive visual landscape that complemented the diverse musical acts.
